Write upon our hearts Father, write upon our hearts!
Take the pen of the Spirit and
write your words of life within!
Let that which we read, that which we write,
become a reality within!
Let us become living words, reflections of your heart,
living sacrifices, that allow that which you have written within, to be released for a time such as this!
Words of Life, of worship, of praise,
Words of deliverence, Words of healing and
restoration!
Words that will rise within, to be spoken forth.
Words that go forth, that will not return void, but
will be planted within those who have an ear to hear!
Let a sure word be written and spoken in the land, a word that will be fulfilled!
Father, we write, we declare your word, your promises and we say so be it Father, So be it!

Brokenhearted

Sometimes it is so hard to hold on, to not let go, to not give up!
When your family is under attack and the only thing you can do is stand in the gap, to simply trust the Father, with the brokenhearted.
When you feel torn asunder, deep within, and the pain permeates the inner most part of your being, and you cry in anguish and wonder, Father, Why, Why?
What do you see, Father, that I don’t see? What are you doing?
How do I let go, to release them to you, to place the ones I love in your loving hands?
Everything within me wants to run to them, to try to heal their wounds, their hurts, their pains!
But Father, only You alone can bring the healing. Only you can hold them in such a way, that your presence permeates their very being.
Even in the midst of the storms, in the turmoils of life, Father, you are there!
Watch over my children and grand-children, my family.
Watch over them when I can’t. Love them deeply! In the midst of the turmoils of life, let them know your presence.
Father, even as you are with me, be with them.
May the legacy that I leave them, be my love for You and for them.
Comfort them Father, even as you have comforted me!
Father, embraced them for me, even as you embraced me even now.

It’s A Go!!

One of the things that I have learned is that the Lord has a real sense of humor!
You never know how He is going to answer your prayers or those fleeces. You know, those things we ask him to do, to confirm to us, that it is really Him answering us. Of course, none of you would do that, would you?
Anyway, last Saturday morning, I was on my way to Starbucks in Kennesaw, for my 06:30 in the morning meeting and as I was heading there I ask the Lord a question that was on my heart about the events of the last few months and especially last couple of weeks.
From the time I got on 575, until I reached Starbucks, I did not stop one time, till I was there!
You have to know that from the time I got off 575 on the Chastain exit, which has more stoplights than any road I know, till I turned left on Cobb Parkway, again with stoplights galore, not one red light.
I never took my foot off the gas pedal nor slowed down till I pulled up to Starbucks, a twenty mile trip.
And what I heard in my mind and in my heart, was “It’s a go, Paul, It’s a go!”
Isn’t that just like our Father?
I have found that often times, He speaks in simplicity, in ways that we can understand!
We just need to listen!
